Fly to Atlanta This Weekend? We'll Tell You Why...

Art Lovers?
For a dose of culture head to the Woodruff Arts Center, which houses the High Museum of Art. The High Museum boasts a collection of works by European and American artists, including a fine collection of African American art. There is also a respectable collection of works by Southern artists. In addition to the High Museum, the Woodruff Arts Center holds the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, 14th Street Playhouse, Alliance Theater and the Atlanta College of Art.

Nature Lovers?
Take a stroll through the lovely Atlanta Botanical Garden, located in the city's popular Piedmont Park. The Botanical Garden is actually a collection of small gardens designed in different styles. For example, there's a fragrant rose garden, a soothing Japanese Garden and even a children's garden filled with fun statues.

Animal Lovers
Spend an afternoon visiting the animals at Zoo Atlanta. The giant panda exhibit is a particular favorite among zoo guests, with visitors crowding to see the big, furry bears. In addition to the pandas, you can see elephants, apes, a lion, rhinoceroses and a petting zoo.

Georgia Aquarium
If you're interested in seeing more creatures, check out the Georgia Aquarium. Opened in late 2005, the Georgia Aquarium is currently the largest aquarium in the world. The aquarium includes exhibits of cold water marine life, fish found in Georgia, river animals from around the world, colorful tropical fish and more.

Martin Luther King, Jr
The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site is located at the civil rights leader's childhood home. The visitor center at the attraction educates visitors about the American civil rights movement and the role Martin Luther King, Jr. played in the movement.

The Kids will love it!
If you've got little ones in tow, you'll want to spend some time at Imagine it! The Children's Museum of Atlanta. Kids can paint on the walls, crawl through tunnels, learn how food makes the journey from farm to kitchen table, build, explore and make believe.

Shopping
For shopping head to Underground Atlanta, where you'll find shops, bars and restaurants. The complex is located beneath the streets of downtown Atlanta, hence the name.

Love Coke?
Finally, Soft drink lovers should head to the World of Coca-Cola, celebrating the popular soda that was created in Atlanta in 1886. See over a hundred years worth of Coke memorabilia, including a reconstructed soda fountain of the 1930s, old Coke TV commercials and early vending machines. You can also try some Coke products that are not sold in the U.S. at Club Coca-Cola.

There are just about enough attractions to keep you fully occupied and entertained this weekend! If you want to spend weekend at Atlanta without breaking, check out all-inclusive last minute deals located at Last-Minute-Vacation-Guide.com, check for all-inclusive deals by departure cities
